Swift Path Solutions was founded in Uganda in December of 2019. The three founding directors of the company recognized and sought to address the unmet needs in the growing field of Histopathology more especially in Uganda. Having expertise in Histo-technology, Clinical pathology and distribution, the three birthed the idea of setting up a company that would consistently provide the much needed supplies for the practice with a level of quality that can guarantee authentic resulting and accurate diagnosis for the Ugandan population. Partnering with a global team of key opinion leaders as advisors, Swift Path Solutions was set up and has since grown to be a household name.
The Swift Path Solutions team consists of highly trained individuals who can be called upon 7 days a week to promptly offer solutions and guidance. We also work closely with our suppliers to provide training and advise as our clients may require. We envisage to grow and have a physical presence in the whole East African region and beyond with a consistent service and product offering wherever we operate. Co-FounderLinda Cherepow is a board-certified histotechnologist with more than 40 years of experience in human and animal histopathology. As the founder of Global Histology Consulting, LLC, she brings unmatched expertise in establishing and managing histopathology laboratories across the United States and internationally, including Africa. Her extensive background and global perspective make her a trusted authority in advancing laboratory standards and practices worldwide.
Diana Basemera
Co-FounderDiana Basemera is a medical laboratory technologist specializing in hematology and histology, with over 24 years of experience in accredited research laboratories in Uganda. Her passion for histopathology was ignited during her training at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, USA. As a co-founder of Swift Path Solutions, she has played a pivotal role in establishing the company, driven by her commitment to bringing expertise, innovation, and excellence to the region’s healthcare landscape.
John Lubega
Co-Founder
John Lubega is a seasoned pharmaceutical sales professional with over 24 years of experience spanning marketing, logistics, and communications across leading multinational companies. He has successfully conceptualized and executed marketing campaigns that strengthened brand presence and drove growth for both branded and generic ethical medicines. His expertise extends across private markets and the public/tender sector, where his strategic approach has consistently delivered measurable results.
